What you need

The minimum requirements.

We verify capability before certifying. If you meet the basics for your service type, you're eligible to apply.

Minimum 3 years active vehicle inspection or mechanical experience
Working knowledge of petrol, diesel, and basic hybrid systems
Access to a reliable OBD diagnostic scanner
Valid Ghana Card and verifiable identity
Smartphone with WhatsApp for dispatch communication
Reliable personal transport to reach inspection sites across Greater Accra
Commitment to the FITA DN Neutrality Rule — no side deals with buyers or sellers during a PPI job
Ability to complete and submit a structured inspection report after each job
Operational tow truck in good mechanical condition
Valid Ghana driving licence for the class of vehicle operated
At minimum one confirmed truck type: flatbed, wheel-lift, heavy-duty, or integrated rotator
Coverage across at least one defined zone in Greater Accra
Available within a defined response window during your registered availability hours
Valid Ghana Card and verifiable business or personal identity
WhatsApp-enabled smartphone for dispatch, location sharing, and completion reporting
Ability to accept client consent before any vehicle handling begins
Hands-on experience with common roadside faults — battery jumpstart, tyre change, lockout
Personal tool kit covering jumpstart cables, tyre iron, and basic diagnostic equipment
Reliable transport within coverage zone — motorcycle or vehicle acceptable
Valid Ghana Card and verifiable identity

The FITA DN Neutrality Rule
Pre-Purchase Inspection partners are the most trust-critical role in the network. Clients pay for an independent, expert assessment — not a recommendation that benefits anyone else. FITA DN's credibility depends on the absolute independence of every PPI report.
This means: you are never permitted to accept payment, commission, or any benefit from a buyer, seller, or dealer in connection with a job assigned through FITA DN. Your report reflects what you found, not what anyone wants you to say.
Violation of the Neutrality Rule is grounds for immediate and permanent removal from the FITA DN network, with no appeal.

FITA DN ops assigns the job to the nearest available certified partner for that service type. You receive a WhatsApp message with full job details.

The certification process is practical, not theoretical. These are the six non-negotiable standards every certified partner upholds on every job.

Arrive in your FITA DN gear. Your ID is visible. The client must be able to immediately verify you are a certified FITA DN partner.

Never begin any procedure — inspection, handling, towing — without explaining what you are about to do and receiving explicit consent from the client.

Plain language with clients
Speak simply. Avoid jargon overload. Clients are not mechanics. Your job is to make them feel informed and respected, not confused or overwhelmed.

Document what you observed
Your report records facts — what you saw, tested, measured. Not opinions, assumptions, or recommendations that benefit anyone in the transaction.

If a client is difficult or a situation becomes tense, you stay calm and professional, then escalate to FITA DN ops. Never argue at a job site.

Honest answers to the questions that come up most in onboarding conversations.

Take rates vary by service type. Pre-Purchase Inspections carry a 35% platform coordination fee. Towing and roadside assistance carry a lower rate. All rates are agreed during onboarding and are never changed retroactively. The calculator on this page uses live rates — what you see is accurate.
Yes. You set your own availability windows during onboarding — any day, weekdays only, weekends only, or specific hours. FITA DN only dispatches you during your registered windows. You can update your availability at any time by contacting ops.
Yes. Many FITA DN partners are employed at garages and work FITA DN jobs in their available hours. You register the hours you can take external jobs. There is no conflict of interest as long as your employer permits outside work — which you manage independently.
Typically 3–5 business days from application to being live. The verification step takes 1–2 days. The orientation session is one day in-person. You can be dispatching jobs within a week of applying, depending on your availability.
Yes — the Apprentice Sponsor Programme exists for exactly this. You register up to 3 apprentices under your account. They get individually trained and certified. All payments route through your MoMo. After 20 jobs and meeting the graduation criteria, they can graduate to independent status — and you earn a referral bonus for 3 months.
FITA DN handles all client disputes. You do not engage with complaints directly. You submit your job report and documentation, and ops manages the conversation. This is one of the key benefits of the FITA DN platform — you are protected from difficult client situations.
Basic conversational English is helpful for client communication. FITA DN provides standard scripts in English for all common service situations. If Twi or another local language is your primary language, flag this during application — we can arrange orientation support accordingly.
No. FITA DN jobs are routed exclusively through the platform — these are clients you would not otherwise reach. Your existing direct client relationships are entirely separate and unaffected. FITA DN adds volume on top of what you already have, not a replacement for it.
